Chesterton Sideboard Natural

There is a lot of storage hiding behind the Chesterton sideboard's good looks. Three cupboards will swallow the dining-room crockery, the living-room board games, or the pile of coats and bags by the door.

It is Indonesian-made and worked by hand, the Bayur grain left on show and picked out with round brass pulls. A wicker top runs the whole length, which takes the heaviness off all that solid timber.

Real wood means real variation, so no two wear the finish in quite the same way. At close to two metres it gives you a long, level top for a lamp, a propped mirror or a line of frames.

There is an anti-tip kit in the box for peace of mind, and small caps keep the base off your floor. Nothing to build either; you could have it loaded up by teatime.
