Chesterton Double Chest of Drawers Natural

The double Chesterton chest is the wide one, built waist-high for bedrooms where a single chest gives up too soon. Lay it along a wall and you get a proper run of drawers, plus a long top that happily takes a lamp and a leaning photo or two.

Under the warm Mindi veneer sits a Bayur-wood carcass, put together by hand in Indonesia. The grain never quite repeats, because it is real timber and not a printed finish. Each drawer opens on a round brass pull, and the top is woven wicker.

It stays low on capped feet, which is kinder to your floorboards and easier on your back. Yours will not look exactly like the next one off the bench.

There is no flat-pack here; it lands in one assembled piece. Keep the wicker happy with the odd brush or a pass of the vacuum.
