Chesterton Console Table Natural

The Chesterton console is the narrow, quietly useful one. It tucks behind a sofa to zone an open room, or sits along a hall wall under a mirror, catching keys, post and a lamp.

The top holds a vase and a couple of books; the shelf below swallows baskets or a row of boots waiting for a walk. The Bayur-wood frame wears a Mindi veneer, with a woven wicker top for a bit of texture.

As with the rest of the range, the grain is its own on every piece. Tapered legs and a slim depth keep it looking light, even though it is solid to lift.

It comes ready to use, feet capped so the floor stays unmarked. Dust the top now and then, and catch spills early before the wood drinks them in.
